A state-of-the-art ‘Information Highway and Resource Centre at AWWA Complex, New Delhi, was inaugurated by the President AWWA in April 2006, with the aim of networking online with all regional AWWA Centres for the speedy dissemination of information.

                      IHRC has a combination of multiple sources of information systems like the Internet, Books, Magazines, News letters, CD ROMs etc. IHRC constitutes of a beautifully designed Cyber Dom for internet surfing with a CD ROM library, a library of selected books and magazines and a multimedia centre to develop presentations. The AWWA directory, Aahwan Catalogue, APEC Curriculum, Pre School Activity books and AWWA brochure are designed here.

                      IHRC is updating AWWA's website, managing email transactions, Online Data Bases of Veer Nari Cell, Asha Schools, Assistive Devices Camps, AWWA Directory, Nursery Teacher Trg Programme & other important facets on AWWA's website. AWWA aims to develop a network of IHRCs at different Army Stations working effectively & synergetically in collaboration with each other.

                      AWWA IHRC has also trained three Differently Abled Children in learning Computer Basics and Graphic Designing.
