VEER NARI WELFARE COMMITTEE

                The armed forces are the guardians of the sovereignty of India. By their indomitable will these soldiers defy enemy bullets, harsh weather and difficult conditions of service even at the cost of their own lives. In recognition of the supreme sacrifice of the men in uniform, the nation needs to come forward and take care of their families and children.

On behalf of the Army and the Nation, Army Wives Welfare Association considers it as their foremost responsibility to take care of the families of such soldiers. AWWA provides all the necessary material and emotional help to the Veer Naris to help them overcome the emotional shock, pick up threads of shattered life again and re-orient their lives. AWWA also provides financial support and educational scholarship to the children of the Veer Naris who need such a support. The help is also rendered in following aspects:-

• Immediate monetary assistance and emotional support.
• Assistance in obtaining and investing her rightful financial emoluments
• Residential accommodation.
• Free education and reservation and hostels for their children.
• Assistance in job procurement for 'Veer Naris' and their wards.
• Financial assistance for health / medical problems.
• Financial assistance for marriage of children.
• Periodic interaction to monitor their well being.
