The
Vocational Institute is a purely welfare venture with the aim of providing
vocational training in various disciplines to Defence personnel (Serving
& Retired), their wives, widows, dependents and children at moderate
cost by giving 25% to 40% concession to them. It also imparts training to
civilians depending on the availability of vacancies. All the courses are run
in such a way to make it suitable, to all particularly the ladies from the
point of view of affordability in terms of time and cost.
