AWWA Journal

AWWA JOURNAL
The AWWA Journal was launched in 1997 to coincide with the golden jubilee of our independence. Over the last few years this in house annual publication has grown from strength to strength and kept readers across the country informed of the multifarious activities undertaken by the Army Wives Welfare Association.

The Journal has touched readers hearts and minds with anecdotes and articles contributed by AWWA members and brought the close knit fraternity of Army Wives and families even closer. We urge all members to continue to send in articles for publication in our 13th  issue, which will be brought out this year. Our Journal serves as a wonderful platform for sharing thoughts and ideas even from far-flung places. This year we have got a most contemporary topic as given below and we are sure everyone of us will endeavour  to contribute towards the AWWA Journal 2010. We request that the articles be send by 31st Jan 2010 by post/by e-mail at the following address :

THEME.            The Journal over the year has acquired its own pre-eminence and serves as a signigicant source of information for proud Army Wives. In keeping with past trends, for this year too an impotant theme has been selected. The theme intends to bring forward the Soldiers wife and her immense contribution in the field of education. From time immemorial, the soldiers wife has been into the field of education in one form or the other. Around 70% of teachers in our Army Schools hail from defence back grounds. Theme for the year 2010 has therfore, been aptly selected as:-

“ Our Army Teachers – A Role Model Who Sets The Foundation For Our Children’s Future”.
