AWWA VOCATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE
The Vocational Institute is a purely welfare venture with the aim of providing employment oriented vocational training in various disciplines to Defence personnel (Serving and Retired), their wives, widows, dependents and children at moderate cost & by giving 25% to 40% concession to them for various course. It also imparts training to civilians depending on the availability of vacancies. All the courses are run in such a way to make it suitable, to all particularly the ladies from the point of view of affordability in terms of time and cost. Most of the faculties are affiliated to various Universities /Govt.or recognized bodies and have due recognition for the courses for employment in Govt / public or private sectors.

This course offers complete and comprehensive expertise in hair cutting/styling, Skin Care, Waxing, threading, facials, Manicure, Pedicure and Heena. Fashion Designing and Stitch Craft (Tailoring and embroidery Course)
These courses are conducted for 6 months duration each. It is affiliated to USHA International Ltd. who have an exhaustive syllabus for the course and award a Diploma Certificate after the exam conducted by them. Diploma holder is eligible for nationalise Bank Loan, Govt. Job in NCR and Immigration status as skilled person to some places abroad.

Typing classes
These classes are conducted from 0900 hrs to 1715 hrs (One hour each shift) daily except Sundays and holidays. Pitmann SS publication approved by Labour Ministry, Govt of India is provided to the students during the course. Certificates are awarded on conclusion of successful training & test by the experienced instructed.

Health Club /Gymnasium (For Ladies Only)
A project of AWWA, where Defence Personnels ladies & gents use the facility for exercising. It is equipped with state of art modern equipment required for exercising/workout. It is a state of Art Gym.

Winters: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Lunch time: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
5:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Families Gents & Ladies & children.(children below 17 yrs not permitted.)
Fees: Rs 400/- for single, Rs 650/- for couple, Rs 1050/- for family (husband + wife + 2 children above 17 Yrs age ) Per Month (1 Hour once a day only. Min entry fee Rs. 400/- per person. Charges 1st of the month to 1st date next month irrespective of days attended).
Dress: Track suit with sport shoe only, shorts and leather shoes not permitted.
Any unfair damage to equipment will be charged from the users.

AWWA Motor Driving School
A most sought after course, which is run by a professional team of highly trained instructors in the field of driving instructions/teaching. School also provides training on modern simulators to the beginners before taking them on the vehicles/road. The practical knowledge of the vehicle, its main parts and their functioning is imparted. Each individual is given exclusive One hour/specified kilometers which ever is earliest, per day on wheels.
