The AWWA Women’s Hostel is located opposite the Signal’s Enclave on Rao Tula Ram Marg- Shankar Vihar Road New Delhi-110010. It is a unique facility for college going dependant girls resident of all ranks. To-day it has earned the status and considered the best girls hostel in Delhi/NCR.
The hostel is well connected with the Palam Airport, Metro (Dhaula Kuan/Air Port) New Delhi Railway Station and the Inter State Bus Terminal by a network of DTC buses. A taxi and a scooter stand is located near the hostel premises. The hostel is also within easy reach of the major Hospital AIIMS, Safdarjung Hospital and the RR Hospital beside a MI room located near by in Signal Enclave & 1CBPO for emergency treatment.
AWWA Women’s Hostel has the following facilities for the inmates:- :

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE HOSTEL :
1. Accommodation in this Hostel is open for dependents ( unmarried non working daughters/ dependants) of all ranks serving in or retired from the Army (except those posted in Delhi) as well as to the daughters of war widows. Preference will be given to daughters of Army personnel posted out of Delhi/NCR during the session. Admission is open for under graduate and postgraduate students seeking admission in regular colleges under Universities located in Delhi and Professional Courses and preparatry courses for competitive exams e.g. PMT, IIT/EEE, CAT, MAT, Civil services exam (full time course) in coaching centre of Delhi/NCR.
2. Working and married girls dependants are not eligible for admission to the Hostel.
3. Admission to the hostel will be strictly on first come first served basis and subject to proof of admission in any institution in Delhi after 10+2 and graduation.
4. The dependents of Air Force and Navy Personnel may also apply for admission to the 1 Hostel. The names will be considered subject to availability of vacancies.
5. Dependents of retired officers and OR are also eligible. All other officer and PBORs enjoying ex-serviceman’s status are also eligible.
6. Applicants staying for complete session i.e. 12 months will be given preference over those applicants who may intend staying for half session.
Fee structure :
1. Registration Fee : Rs.500/-
2. One time charges at the time of admission
Security Deposit : Rs.3600/-(refundable)
Admission Fee : Rs.1000/-
Annual Charges : Rs.1000/-
3. Hostel Dues
1st Installment of Six months fee @ Rs.3600/- pm
to be paid at the time of admission) in Jul. :Rs.21600/-
2nd Installment of Six months fee @ Rs.3600/- pm
less one months messing to be paid by 15 Dec. : Rs.19740/-
4. Inmates who wish to apply to keep laptop/PC for academic purpose only (If their such request approved by hostel authority, Warden/Administrator (Each such applications/request is decided separately on its merit). Will have to deposit complete session’s laptop/PC fee Rs. 150/- per month for the complete session during admission time in July. Part monthly payment will not be accepted.
5. Parents are advised to kindly go though the rule book for the inmates, thoroughly. Info and rules given there in are strictly followed without exceptions and at par for all children of all ranks.
