The monthly News Magazine 'BAATCHEET' is published both in English and Hindi by the Additional Directorate General of Public Information, B-30, South Block, Army Headquarters, DHQ PO, New Delhi-110011. The magazine is sent to all Formations and Units of the Army. Baatcheet contains a wide ranged information, relating to News of maj events, information's of general interst, points pertaining to entitlements and welfare of serving and retired personnel of the Army and their families. This magazine devote a separate page at the end called "The AWWA INTERFACE" which contains information specifically related to AWWA activities. Baatcheet is a useful magazine,which contains a wealth of important information. It is available on CDs at the Addl Dte Gen of Public Information and demands can be sent for them. 1998 to 2003 (60 Issues) - Rs 150/- 2004 (12 Issues) - Rs 100/- The current issues of Baatcheet is posted at the Indian Army Website www.indianarmy.nic.in for a period of one month, till the next issue is posted.
