VEER NARI CAMP AT HARYANA

| Details: |
A large scale camp for VEER NARIS was arranged by Central AWWA Sectt at MEHAM,HARYANA on 4 Oct 08. The camp was inaugurated by Mrs Asha Hooda w/o Honble' chief Minister,Haryana. Mr Deepender Hooda,MP was the Guest of Honour They were received by the President AWWA Mrs Kirti Kapoor.The camp was attended by 1600 Veer Naris and their family members from Rohtak district.They were helped in making ECHS cards,CSD cards,Medical check up and monetary assistances.Announcement for the increase in pensions of veernaris was made by Haryana Govt.Mr Deepender Hooda also distributed the sewing machines to the veernaris.

Mrs Elizabeth Antony w/o the hon'ble Defence Minister Shri A K Antony visited AWWA's Women empowerment project: Aahwan at Delhi Cantt. on 7th Nov to interact with veernaris and the differentlyabled women who are rehabilitated there.The President AWWA Mrs Kirti Kapoor received her along with Vice President AWWA, Mrs Neeharika Naidu,AWWA Coordinators and Director,Aahwan Mrs Purnima Bakshi.Mrs Elizabeth Antony has appreciated the project and complimented AWWA for maintaining legal quality control norms during production of candles.
