 ADDRESS BY REGIONAL PRESIDENT FWO SOUTHERN COMMAND

FWO is a fabulous value based organization, reflective of environment aspirations and it knits FWO fraternity into a fine fabric spread over entire Army.

The changing socio - economic environment helps us determine the interactional, behavioural and activity patterns we need to adopt. More and more women are working today, but this does not mean that they should dissociate themselves from organizational obligations. As Army wives we are a fairly privileged lot. I feel we too owe a lot to this wonderful organization. A delicate balance must therefore be struck between home, career and organization. All welfare work we undertake and the help we seek must be entirely voluntary and that involvement of our ladies should only be solicited by, persuasion and by personal example.

I appreciate the tremendous effort and intense enthusiasm of this unique organisation of Family  Welfare Organisation.
